- The award for JRF is valid only for three years within which the awarded candidate has to join the Ph.D. for availing benefit of JRF.

Strategy
- Try to understand the syllabus. Watch the lecture video provided with each chapter to better understanding.
- Set your target score on the basis of cut-off of previous exams.
- Analyse the trend from the previous year questions provided at the end of each chapter.
- Make a list of your strong and weak areas, then plan accordingly.
- Before starting the chapter, give a look to the previous year questions. It will help in staying focused and developing interest.
- Follow the chapter thoroughly and then attempt the questions. It will give you an idea about your preparation level. If you are able to solve questions, then proceed to next chapter. But if you are unable to solve questions, then revise chapter once more.
- Practice the shortcut tricks provided in Comprehension, Mathematical Aptitude and Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Data Interpretation.
- Learn time management skills so as to complete paper on time.
- Have short breaks in study sessions.
- Revision is the only key to remember things. If you don’t revise from time to time, you will not be able to recall the topics and facts in examination hall.
